What I'm getting from all this is that Carr is DEFINITELY being traded...unless he isn't.GoodTimeCharlie » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:09 pm
Not me. I’m seeing that there’s no chance in hell he’s getting traded…unless he is.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:07 pm:What I'm getting from all this is that Carr is DEFINITELY being traded...unless he isn't.

Sanjit has been on his stuff lately. He has been pretty nonbiased during thus whole thing. Unlike wifi willie who i cant even watch anymore. Wifi has been such a carr stan he may have permanently lost a lot of followers. I dont know how he recovers from some of the things he has said.Ordos » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:10 pm

I am going to be an obnoxious son of a bitch if he is tradedGoodtimes333 » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:17 pm
Derek saying how he's working extra hard for a new situation after being "fucked over" essentially shows everyone a bad look in my opinion. There's also a lot of stupid executives in the league who will buy it. Dude grew up with everything he ever wanted at a young age. A Cowboys fan. His dad was a Raider fan, he wasn't. It would be a shame to just cut him for nothing but that's Raider luck, because he is worth something. Player swap picks etc doesnt matter. He's worth that, he isn't useless. He'll have some good games and he's been pretty reliable as far as injuries. I'm just excited that the Raiders have a fresh start and can build back what they truly are. Adams, Waller, Renfrow, Miller is a great foundation for any QB. The Raiders better not include Adams in any trade regardless. He grew up a Raider fan wearing Tim Brown jerseys. He's in on this. Playing with Stidham & his reaction after proved itGUYDON » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:18 pm
I have been about 80% sure we will get something for him since he was benched. Im still about 80% sure. It makes sense for all involved. Raiders get something, the team trading get a locked in contract and little competition from other teams, Carr doesnt have "cut" on his record and gets a contract he already agreed to and virtually garunteed to start. Plus the team will have "skin in the game" trading for him and will do what they can to help him succeed so they dont look dumb. And Carrs most important criteria, he will feel "wanted" if a team gives up picks. Also he can act like he is the bigger man by accepting the trade and not forcing the Raiders to cut him.Dark Horse » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:38 pm
"If you like 4th quarter comebacks..."Southshield wrote Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:39 pm:I think its great they are allowing Carr to talk to teams because him and his family are the best carny, used car salesmen, strip mall televangelists sellers around. Carr can sell himself to coaches who don't know him on his "work ethic", his "commitment", "team first" attitude like no one else. I think for coaches when they see him in that red shirt throwing footballs with pinpoint accuracy along with his charm while his brother sells his brother's propaganda on the NFL network is a win win for this franchise in creating value out of nothing.

keep telling you guys, views on Carr are vastly different depending on who you talk to. My contact with the Titans says there is a belief that he is better than perceived and is a product of a badly run team but if given more stability can be a top level QB, I have my own personal views but support this view if taken by other teamsSir Raider Duck, OMS » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:56 pm
That sounds like McDaniels' thoughts last year, and Gruden's thoughts in 2018: "[Carr] is better than perceived and is a product of a badly run team but if given more stability can be a top level QB."Attyla wrote Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:46 pm:keep telling you guys, views on Carr are vastly different depending on who you talk to. What's inferred here (and subsequent reports) seems to be that Ziegler came in with more of a 'flat fee' compensation target, and asked how many clubs would be willing to meet it.RaidersAreOne wrote Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:02 pm:https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status ... 4229327874

If teams are willing to trade for Carr that means they are willing to pay that contract. Why would Carr accept a trade and essentially help the raiders when he could agree to the same contract with whatever team was willing to trade for him?
