I think the main difference is Witherspoon is ultra aggressive (in a good way) whereas Mitchell is more of a blanket CB. I don't know that Witherspoon can play the style he play through his career.raiders93 wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 4:05 pm:How do you grade him compared to say Devon Witherspoon last year (not in terms of similarities but in terms of caliber). Better or worse?
I’d be lying if I said I watched a lot of Toledo. I mean the fact that he had 4 INTs in a game kind of goes to show how OP he was in the MAC.
My only kind of concern if you will - isn’t he predominantly a zone corner?

I’m generally anti-1st round corner unless it’s an undeniable star. Surtain. Ramsey. Gardner. Witherspoon to a lesser extent.Dark Horse wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 6:10 pm:I think the main difference is Witherspoon is ultra aggressive (in a good way) whereas Mitchell is more of a blanket CB. If the donks believe they have their QB now.....they can field offers to move down, or pair him with a stud WR...islandboy » Mon Apr 22, 2024 7:36 pm
I hear you.BoJacksonRules wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 3:15 pm:Agreed, I just have a lot of Raiders draft scar tissue. Because I don’t want anymore scars I’ll be happy as long as they don’t fuck it up.

That’s always been the second problem to the Raiders trading into the top three, someone else who is also in play can offer more. The first problem is that none of the picks may be for sale.crowbar wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 7:28 pm:Sounds like the Raiders did make a push for the 3rd pick, but it wasn't enough. ^^^^

Reggie at least had a home run draft, just didn’t sustain it.islandboy wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 7:36 pm:I hear you.
We all have scars from the drafts of yesteryear. This is the first time in years that we have a GM that has experience in the main role. I am optimistic but I was also optismistic with Z, Mayock and Reggie.
I may have dementia.

2024 NFL Draft Week Rumors – MondayKillerRaider30 » Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:43 pm
I think going OT at 13 is a mistake with the depth at that position this year. There's value in r3 and especially because It'll be a LT moved to right.16 to 88 » Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:03 pm
It would be interesting if Nix or Penix are on the board when our pick #13 comes along and we trade down some then drafted Nix/Penix and acquired team "X" 2nd rounder in this draft and possibly/likely there 3rd next year.Sold My Soul » Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:13 pm

Interesting that Washington's GM Adan Peters moved up for Tray Lance and failed miserably. He also had great success when he drafted Brock Purdy with the final pick.DanKD » Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:51 pm
He did neither of those things. John Lynch did.KillerRaider30 wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:13 pm:Interesting that Washington's GM Adan Peters moved up for Tray Lance and failed miserably. He also had great success when he drafted Brock Purdy with the final pick.
If he learned anything and if he thinks the draft owes him a couple1st rounders...
Just saying
